Racoon Spotted In Pearson Int’l Airport Ceiling

A masked intruder of the cute kind has been filmed observing travellers at Toronto’s Pearson Airport.

The racoon was filmed peering from a temporary opening in the ceiling of the airport’s terminal three yesterday.

One video posted online by witness Cameron Graham has received hundreds of retweets and likes.

Mr Graham told CBC News he was waiting for his wife’s return flight from Edmonton when he spotted the unexpected visitor.

“You almost expected him to come down wearing a little uniform and ask to help with the baggage,” he said.

Airport staff were reportedly alerted to the racooon’s presence but the animal was not removed.

Populations of raccoons specially adapted to urban living are on the rise across Canada and North America, Slate reported last year.
