A power problem suspended service on part of the Second Avenue subway on the Upper East Side Friday morning.

Power went out at around 10:30 a.m. for 10 minutes, before coming back on briefly. However, it went out again at 10:50 a.m. and remains out.

The loss of power is between East 72nd and East 86th streets.

No Q trains are running in either direction between 57th and 96th streets on the Second Avenue line.

Con Edison said this is not a problem with its equipment and has to do with MTA equipment. Work crews are on the scene, and repair work is underway

There are no trains struck between stations, and no injuries were reported. Riders were diverted to the 4, 5 and 6 lines.

Some northbound Q and W trains are not traveling to Queens.
