NEWARK — Two New York residents who had sought to prevent Upper Saddle River from removing a Jewish religious boundary known as an eruv have withdrawn their motion for a temporary restraining order.
The plaintiffs had filed the motion against Upper Saddle River and its mayor, Joanne Minichetti, on Friday. It was withdrawn the same day “pursuant to an agreement of the parties,” attorneys Diane P. Sullivan and Yehudah L. Buchweitz wrote in a letter to U.S. District Court Judge John M. Vazquez.
