NYPD:10 Side Mirrors Stolen From NYPD Vehicles Parked Near Javits Center

CHELSEA — A thief or thieves stole side mirrors from five NYPD vehicles parked across from the Javits Center, police said.

Ten mirrors were stolen from the marked vehicles across from the convention center at 655 W. 34th St. past 11th Avenue, between 5:30 p.m. on April 15 and 5 a.m. on April 16, the NYPD said.

Officers searched the area after they learned about the theft but turned up short, police said.

The NYPD didn’t say how much the mirrors would cost to replace, and no one had been arrested in connection with the incident as of Friday morning.
