NYPD Looking For Suspect That Robbed 3 Synagogues In Williamsburg

Brooklyn   The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo wanted for questioning in regard to burglary pattern that occurred within the confines of the 90th Precinct. Details are as follows:

Incident # 1:

On Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 0230 hours, inside of 27 Lee Avenue (Synagogue) an unidentified male entered through an unsecured front door and removed approximately $250 from a donation box before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Incident # 2:

On Saturday, February 9, 2019, at 4:00 p.m., inside of 240 Hooper Street (Transfiguration Church), the male entered through an unsecured rear window and removed approximately $250 worth of office supplies before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Incident # 3:

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 2:50 p.m., inside of 469 Bedford Avenue (Synagogue), the male entered the location by unknown means and removed approximately $600 and office supplies before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Incident # 4:

On Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at 7:50 p.m., inside of 171 South 9th Street (Synagogue), the male entered the location via an unsecured elevator and removed approximately $400 and office supplies before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The person wanted for questioning is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 30-40 years of age. He was last seen wearing a black cap, black jacket, grey hooded shirt, blue jeans, and tan shoes.
