Natural gas service denied to Brooklyn residents

Brooklyn, NY  Assemblyman William Colton held a briefing slamming National Grid’s decision to refuse to take new applications for natural gas service in Brooklyn due to a company-imposed moratorium.  Councilman Deutsch was first to highlight the National Grid issue and fight for Brooklyn south constituents. It is time for Governor Cuomo to get rid of the National Grid monopoly. Governor Cuomo has said many times he will get rid of National Grid but so far its talk and no action.  This is a major blow to New York residents and causing a loss of millions of dollars to New York State and it’s residents.
