NEW YORK   There is a 3-way race for Councilman David Greenfield’s upcoming open seat which is the 44th district and which also encompasses Boro Park.

The three candidates running for office are Heshy Tishler, Yoni Hikind, Kalman Yeger.

While everyone is talking about Hikind and Yeger,  Heshy Tischler is being ignored by the media for unknown and unexplainable reasons while being the only candidate that has been living in Boro Park for over a half of century.  Tischler is someone with experience and qualified to run.  Crain’s latest article from October 6th does not mention Tischler.   Political experts say when someone is a serious contender and being ignored by the media, it’s a sign the candidate is a serious threat to the establishment.
