Brooklyn The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the male depicted in the attached photo wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 70th Precinct/Transit District 34. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Monday, July 1, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., a 70-year-old male was sitting on a bench on the northbound platform of the Ave M subway station when an unidentified male approached him and demanded the victim’s wallet. The victim refused at which time a brief struggle ensued and the male fled the location in an unknown direction without any property. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident.
The person wanted for questioning is described as a male Hispanic, in his twenties, last seen wearing a baseball cap and a red shirt.
