Police say the victims exited their train at the F stop in Midwood just after midnight Thursday when a black male and a black female believed to be teenagers set upon them, yanking one of them to the floor of a staircase, grabbing her purse and punching and beating her for 5 minutes.

Crime continues to go up in NYC under Mayor de Blasio.  Most New Yorkers do not feel safe. Homicides are up 9% in NYC.  The ones that survive shootings do not get much attention.  Hate crimes are up too.  Over the last 12 months, there were 246 anti-Semitic crimes in the Big Apple, up from 144 over the previous 12 months. The number of anti-Semitic assaults jumped to 33 in 2018, up from 17 in 2017, and is on pace to rise again this year, with 19 in just the first half of the year. These attacks brutally target Orthodox Jews, often in broad daylight in Brooklyn neighborhoods.
